Our Story
Built From Passion & EXPERIENCE
Founded by professional dancer and instructor Tarance “T” Artis, TOTAL TECHNIQUE ACADEMY was created to provide high-quality dance education that combines technical excellence with creativity and self-expression.
With years of professional training and industry experience, our academy focuses on developing strong foundations while encouraging individuality and confidence in every student.
Whether stepping into a studio for the first time or preparing for advanced performance opportunities, our mission is to help every dancer grow technically, artistically, and personally.
We believe that every dancer — regardless of age or background — deserves access to professional-level training in a space where they feel supported, challenged, and inspired.

About Us
Tarance “T”
Tarance “T” Artis grew up in Denver, Colorado where started his Dance training at 8 years old. He attended Denver School of The Arts as a Dance Major and was a part of the competition/convention circuit for most of his childhood. At 16 “T” was accepted into The Kirov international Ballet Boarding school in Washington DC on a full $25,000 scholarship, where he spent time training hard in Ballet technique. After leaving Kirov, “T” then moved to Arizona where he taught classes at a few dance studios before making the decision to move out to Los Angeles at age 19, to pursue a professional Dance career in the Hollywood film/tv industry. Some of “T’s” professional Dance credits include work with Disney Channel, Rupaul, Carmit Bachar of The Pussycat dolls, Kacey musgraves, Miley Cyrus, MTV, Kesha, Lizzo, Bob The Drag Queen and more! “T” formed a Dance crew called Barbie’s Addiction, where he was able to combine his love for Choreography, stage performance, makeup and costume to perform at venues all over the United States and over seas to China for a 3 month show contract. After 15 years working hard in Los Angeles, “T” has returned to Arizona to get back to his roots of Teaching the next generation of Dancers the power and importance of Technique and stage performance!
